Workshops:

SUSTAINABLE BEEKEEPING WORKSHOP at the Heifer ranch in Perryville, Arkansas.  April 11-15, 2010. An introductory course that covers basic bee biology, hive management, equopment needed to build and start a bee hive, plus hands on work on building and assembling bee boxes and frames.  We will also suit up and open existing gives and install new colonies of bees. Bee souits are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.  Physical activity includes low levels of lifting an moderate amounts of walking.  The $375 per person tuition fee includes all programming, lodging and meals.
