Plenty of new flowers are worth a trial this year. Some, such as Dianthus 'Rose Magic' (shown at left) are bred for cutting; but there are many other plants that might serve well as cut flowers. Included: Panicum 'Frosted Explosion', Mondarda 'Bergamo', Eryngium, Amerboa, Rudbeckia 'Cappuccino', Agastache, and Coreopteris tripteris.
