We love lettuce! In all its various
forms and colors. Our customers love lettuce also. One source says lettuce ranks second only to potatoes in vegetable popularity in the U.S. And our customers want it year-round, not just in the cool weather of our all-too-short springs and fleeting autumns. Since the customer is always right and our cash flow depends upon pleasing them, we need lettuce available year-round. So we work with season extension techniques and variety selection to achieve that goal.
