They call it an “overnight sensation,” but the new Emmaus Farmers’ Market was really about 15 years in the making.
It all began when four friends who worked together at Rodale’s New Farm magazine started selling their fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, herbs, cut flowers and seedlings in a parking lot behind one of the Rodale buildings on Main Street.
