First a disclaimer. These results are totally and completely subjective. They are the result of the two of us walking the pepper patch on a Sunday morning with a clipboard in hand. We felt like a couple of Ph.D.s from the front of some seed catalog, without the lab coats. We’d heft up the plants and say “yeah, that’s pretty heavy production”, or cut the peppers and judge the flavor. “A complex, peppery flavor, not too sweet” or “this tastes kinda soapy”. It was like a wine tasting except that we totally ruined our pallets when we got tired of peppers and slipped over a few rows and got into the melon patch!
