trafficOur produce farm is diverse in what we grow and diverse in how we market. We have 10 wholesale accounts, a summer CSA of about 400, a 230-family winter CSA, and we sell at two farmers markets. Most of our customers are urban, but we farm in the country. Less than 20% of our income comes from CSA members that pick up on the farm itself. That reality makes me a delivery man, a truck driver, in addition to all the other roles that successful farming demands.
