barrel washerWatching the harvest crew wash roots is frequently one of the most painful experiences on the farm. It’s really hard to describe the standard for cleanliness, and then it’s incredibly easy for me to think that they’re either not getting things clean enough, or spending much too much time when we have more important things to be doing. I’ve dreamed of many variations of root crop washers, but when I finally sat down to look at the real payoff it was difficult to see any one design stand out.
