Good Food Jobs is a new service connecting job seekers and employers in sustainable food and farming. Its tagline is "satisfying the hunger for meaningful work" and its mission statement explains:
"Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more."
Some examples of jobs being advertised include farming interns, cheesemakers and cheesemongers, non-profit managers, bakers, recipe testers, line cooks, bartenders, writers and photographers. Searching for jobs is free. Posting jobs costs $60 for 60 days.
